Watch this short welcome video from Mr. Pendergrass
Dear Fairmount Park Families-
Mr. Pendergrass has set-up a new online music notebook for students and families. This will give you access to all kinds of music resources for all things music at Fairmount Park in an easy to navigate OneNote portfolio. You can check it out here: http://bit.ly/FP_Music_Online.
You’ll find links to audio files for band, choir and orchestra; details about upcoming concerts; resources for classroom music about recorders (grade 3), guitars (grade 4) and keyboards (grade 5) available online anytime.
Hey there recorder players-
Some of you have asked for the music we are doing from the Charlie Brown Cartoons. Here are the links to “Linus and Lucy” for Recorder:

*Brass players for Blues Night: Go here for your music.
You are invited to attend our second annual Fairmount Park Blues Night! Concert scheduled for Wednesday April 4, at 7pm in the lunchroom. This will be a 30-40 minute concert and audience participation event of some soul searching, toe tapping, blues music!
Students from the intermediate band and 4.5 Choir will be performing along with the “Falcon Allstars Blues Band” (aka *FABB), featuring FP parents and teachers playing blues music on bass, drums, guitars and keyboard that evening.
Dress up as your favorite blues artist or character and join us for a fun evening!
Dear choir 2.3 and 4.5 families, just a reminder that choir starts the week of January 15th. There is no choir until that time as mentioned at the concert and hopefully in an email that you received. Also, you do not need to sign up for choir for this round of enrichments if you have already been in the choir. I look forward to seeing you after the Martin Luther King holiday. Thank you!
